What is the iPad?
The iPad was released on April 3rd, 2010 and is based on the software the runs on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It has a 9.7 inch screen, 10 hour battery life and can play music, movies, do email, surfing.
While Apple wants it to be more than just a tablet, that is what it is, a big touch screen computer that runs the iPhone operating system.
