It must be summer if the tankini is back in style. Don't hit the beach too quickly though because this tankini is for your iPod shuffle. The ezSkin Tankini is a rubber skin for your iPod Shuffle which is meant to do a bit of protection and a bit of dressing up, like any good tankini should. They come in four different packs with a total of five different colors with white being a big hit.

Do I need a skin?

Ahh the age old question of whether one actually needs one accessory or another. Of course you dolt, you need it all. You need to consume until there is no more consumption to take place. Buy! Buy! Buy! (sing it Justin). While it may seem that your iPod Shuffle is pretty much in its own little protective shell and cannot be hurt, it actually can endure nicks and bumps. That is where the genious of the skin comes in. You can both add a small layer of protection to your iPod Shuffle as well as seperate yourself from the iPodClones with a fresh new look. Two great tastes in one tankini.

Of course we here in the laps went for the black exSkin Shuffle Tankini ( of course, of course) to try on first. It is a tight fit but to get on which involves a lot of pulling and tugging, but we won't go there. Once it is on, it does a good job of covering up the entire shuffle. It has a raised area for the controls and a little indented area in the back for the on/off switch allowing full control. There is a nice extra large hole at the top to allow for a good headphone plug connection.

Conclusion

ezSkin Tankini is a nicely designed iPod Shuffle skin sold in a few different colors. If you are looking to move out from under the simple world of white iPods this is a quick and easy way while offering a little extra protection.
