iPod Shuffle (2nd Generation) Starts Shipping
Although our test model has not yet shipped rumor around the "internets" (a series of tubes you know) is that the second generation of the iPod Shuffle is shipping.
According to multiple sources, orders placed early for Apple's 2G iPod Shuffle are beginning to ship from factories in China. Apple announced the redesigned miniature music player on September 12th at its "It's Showtime" event, with a shipping date in October.

Apple's new iPod(R) shuffle, the world's smallest digital music player, will be available in Apple's retail stores and Apple(R) Authorized Resellers this Friday, November 3. Nearly half the size of the original, the new iPod shuffle is just half a cubic inch in volume, weighs just half an ounce and features a minimal aluminum design with a built-in clip, making it the most wearable iPod ever. The new iPod shuffle contains one gigabyte of flash memory which holds up to 240 songs, and is priced at just $79.
