- iChat with tabs, window sharing and visualizations
- Spaces for virtual desktops
- Dashboard with new easy to make widgets and a new toolkit
- Spotlight for launching applications and more recent stuff
- iCal sharing with virtual meeting places and document sharing
- 64 bit computing
- Core image for fancy graphics
- A lot not mentioned
